Terms and conditions of snow removal services Print

Priority of snow removal service done by Amenagements Paysagers Vanderzon Inc. (hereinafter the Contractor) will be determined by the city's snow removal service.

Snow clearing will begin once 5 cm of snow has accumulated. We guarantee service before 7:00 am, if 5cm of snow has accumulated before 3:00 am

The Client authorizes the installation of pickets by the Contractor. These pickets serve to outline the boundaries of the Clients driveway, as well as high-light areas of difficulty. Pickets will be removed and collected by the Contractor as soon as possible, following the end of the snow removal season. The Client should not remove the pickets since snowfall may occur in mid-April.

The Contractor is not responsible for any items or objects left on the driveway. The Client is responsible to remove basketball nets, or at least turn them away from facing the driveway.

It is the responsibility of the Client to make sure that if any water valve caps are protruding in their driveway, to contact the City of St-Bruno at 450.645.2960 and have a technician come by and lower the pipe.

The Contractor is not responsible for any damages or inconveniences that may be caused by gravel driveways.

Sloped driveways: The Client is responsible for keeping the driveway free of ice build up, by throwing down salt or other type of abrasive before every snowfall. As such the Contractor will decide to clear the driveway or not depending on the condition of the driveway. The Contractor is not responsible for any damage caused by a tractor which may slide due to an icy surface.

It is the Clients responsibility to remove the car(s) from the driveway as soon as possible, 10:00 am, at the latest. This is so the Contractor can have full access to the Clients driveway for proper finishing. If the Client fails to do so and as a result, requests a supplementary snow removal, additional charges of $15.00 will apply.

Amenagements Paysagers Vanderzon Inc. Reserves the right to cancel this contract at any given time if payment is not made within the required time frame.

A surcharge of $25.00 will be applied for any checks returned due to non-sufficient funds.
